We participated in a fencing demonstration class provided by the Jockey Club and the Hong Kong Fencing Association. The coach started by exploring the art and the history of fencing, so that the students could have a deeper understanding of the charm of this sport. Also, we had some interesting practices and challenges. They arranged students to participate in actual fencing duels. Students could experience the attacking techniques, footwork and the importance of timing in fencing.
