Integrated Science

The integrated science encourages students to take note of phenomena and events of the surrounding. Basically, class teaching is mainly conducted with on inquiry-based learning. Through systematic observation and experimentation, students are nurtured to be curious about the world, and they are also strengthened of scientific deliberation. In the process of exploration, students will, aside from acquiring knowledge, also pick up scientific process skills as measurement, observation, analysis of data, design and evaluation of experimental procedures, verification, etc.

Science is an interesting subject, and it is why learning science should not be limited to time in class or programme content. Hence, the subject has attached great importance to extra-curricular activities, so that students can experience the mysteries of science. Students are also cultivated of interest in science, which helps them learn science more actively and positively. More importantly, students can cope with changes and challenges from future society, so that they are able to conduct wise judgments, solve problems, and have innovative thinking.
