The 26th General Meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association of our school was successfully held on 23 October. The Chairperson, Ms. Chan YY delivered a report, reviewing the activities of the past year and briefing on the plan for the next year. After that the Assistant Principal, Mr Cheung KY presented a financial report. Acting Principal Lam CL issued an appointment certificate and a certificate of appreciation to each parent and teacher executive committee as a commendation. In addition, parents and teachers donated cheques for school development and facilities improvement. After that, a parent seminar was held. The Parent-Teacher Association invited Ms Mak Ho Siu Kuen to give a talk about "How to improve children's motivation and ability to face up to adversity". The speaker talked about her experience on how to teach and get along with her children. The speaker even played a video of her daughter, "10A Miss Hong Kong " Ms Mak Ming Sze, and shared her successful experience with everyone. It was hoped that the talk could inspire the parents and help their children succeed. Following with the meeting between the class teacher and the parents, everyone got the opportunity to understand the performance of students at home and at school, and discuss how to help them to learn more effectively.
