There are 12 English events in the week (17-21 October, 2022), organized and held by teachers and students, ranging from song appreciation to talent shows, from spaghetti tower building to mural drawing. Students have a lot of chances to learn English reading skills (the instructions of the tasks are all in English), writing skills (students have to write the scripts for their voice-over, MC work and even mini-dramas), listening skills (students follow instructions given by teachers to host the games or participate in the games) and speaking skills (most of the tasks require students to discuss with members and even perform on stage). Of course, all the events are fun, educational, and even thought-provoking, but above all, they are great opportunities for students to practise what they have learnt in the lessons. Both students and teachers enjoy the English Week a lot.
