The Civic Education Committee of our school has recommended and nominated our students to participate in the 19th Basic Law Ambassador Training Programme, organised by the Joint Committee for the Promotion of the Basic Law of Hong Kong. Our student XIE Yinuo (4T) has successfully completed this meaningful Programme. In this Programme, she had the precious opportunity to enhance and deepen her understanding of the Basic Law and even national security. Additionally, in the ‘In-depth Social Issues Investigation Activity’, XIE Yinuo (4T) was privileged to have an interview with Mr. TANG Ping-keung Chris, PDSM, the Secretary for Security, about national security policies & measures and their implementation. After her interview with Mr. TANG, she shared the valuable insights gained from this training programme with fellow schoolmates during the morning assembly at school, encouraging all of us to be law-abiding citizens with a deep understanding of and respect for the law.
