In order to celebrate National Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Civic Education Committee, in conjunction with the Life Planning Committee and various groups, organized a series of celebratory activities, including ‘A flag-raising ceremony and speech under the national flag’, Territory-wide inter-school national security knowledge challenge’, ‘Mooncake and lantern riddle guessing event for the Mid-Autumn Festival’, ‘A happy Mid-Autumn Festival’ and the ‘Tomorrow will be more fun’ school concert tour. This year's theme was celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival and the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, highlighting the spirit of benevolence at Man Kiu College and enhancing the national identity of teachers and students. Teachers and students learned about traditional Chinese virtues and the cultural connotations of the Mid-Autumn Festival through these activities. They also enjoyed mooncakes, lantern riddles and listening to music, creating a joyful festive atmosphere.
